BRIGGS Jack Jack passed away on 15th September 2024 at Fairfield Hospital following a short illness. He was 80 years old. Born in Rawtenstall and raised in Haslingden, Jack moved to Ramsbottom upon getting married in 1966 where he started his career as a centre lathe turner, working at John Woods Engineering and a few years later, raising two boys with his wife, Ilona. Away from engineering, Jack enjoyed his passion for photography and music, playing the cornet in local brass bands. Jack leaves sons, Denzil and Justin and grandchildren Sarah, Oliver, Céline and William. The Funeral service will take place on Monday 30th September 2024 at St Pauls Church, Ramsbottom at 1:30pm followed by interment at Ramsbottom Cemetery. Flowers are welcome.
