WESTWOOD (Nee Dickinson) GILL (Gillian Dorothy) Passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in her sleep, at Gorsey Clough Nursing Home, Tottington on 10th February aged 69 years suffering from Alzheimer's Dementia. Loving wife to Ian for 36 years, loving sister & sister-in-law to Ian and Margaret, aunt to Anna & Alasdair. She was also surrogate mum to numerous Fox-terriers, who adored her as much as she loved them, literally from childhood. Gill was a Walmersley resident most of her life and a nurse for 38 years at Bury General and Fairfield Hospitals, retiring as Senior Sister in charge of the Orthopaedic Wards at Fairfield. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday 27th February at East Lancashire Crematorium at 1.30pm Followed by reception at Walmersley Conservative Club, Mather Road, Bury, BL9 6RB.
