MURPHY Jean 22.01.33 13.08.23 In loving memory of Jean Murphy (nee Saxon, nee McVey) of Oakwood Cottage, Heywood, who sadly passed away in her sleep, on 13th August at Fairfield Hospital following a brief period of hospitalisation. She was born on 22nd January 1933, and was the loving wife of Frank, and devoted mother of Nicola, Stephen, Jane, Helen, Dominic and Claire. She was also a loving Grandmother and Great-grandmother. She was preceded by her parents, Nellie and Edmund (Eddie) McVey, and her brother Robert (Bob). She will be missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace. The family have requested no flowers at the service, and any kind donations that individuals wish to make are to be made to the charity of the donors' choice. The funeral service will be held at St Michaels Church, Bamford, at 1.00pm on Monday 11th September 2023, followed by a cremation at Rochdale crematorium at 2.00pm.
