WHITE, Edmund Aloysius On 9th August 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his family, fortified by the Rites of The Holy Mother Church, Edmund, aged 92 years. The dearly beloved husband of the late Eveline, much loved father to Catherine and the late Philip, a dear father-in law to Jacqueline and Philip and a devoted grandad to Christopher and Chloe. Former Headteacher of Parrenthorn High School. Requiem Mass to take place on Monday 21st August at St. Marie's RC Church, Bury at 9.30am followed by interment at Preston New Cemetery at 11.45am. Very sad to see that Mr White had passed away. Fantastic headteacher and an inspiration. Lifelong interest in history (especially Roman) and many trips to Italy remembering lessons I had at Parrenthorn. Great teacher. He will be missed.
