WALKER Benjamin Alan 'Ben' Sadly passed away on the 4th September 2022 aged 93 years. Mr Walker became a primary school teacher in Bury after an early career at sea, firstly in the Merchant Navy and later as a pilot in the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm. He first taught at St Stephen's School, Bury, and later at Springside Primary School, before his retirement in 1994. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him especially his two sons, Alan and Robert. Funeral Service to take place on Tuesday 20th September at St Stephen's Church, Bury at 1:30pm followed by Committal at East Lancashire Crematorium, Radcliffe at 2:30pm.
