BUTTERWORTH Jean (née Porter) In loving memory of Jean Butterworth, we are saddened to announce her passing on Friday the 27th May 2022, aged 85 years. Much loved wife of the late Denis and treasured mother of Alison and Erica. A proud Grandmother to Seth, Coen and Louie, caring Mother-in-Law to Charlie. Jean will always be remembered as a woman with love for her daughters and rejoiced in their achievements. Jean had an appreciation of life, independence and the kindness in the world. Jean loved adventure, she and Denis spent many years in America. Jean was the granddaughter of Alice (of the Bury Women's Co-operative Guild) and Robert Porter and daughter to Alice Porter. Mum was a kind woman and will be so greatly missed by many. The funeral service will be held at East Lancashire Crematorium, Radcliffe on Wednesday 22nd June at 11:30am.
