SYLVIA GRIMES (nee KENYON) Sadly passed away 30th March 2022 peacefully at home and of Bury, aged 77years. Beloved wife of John, loving mum of Stuart (born sleeping), Lorraine, Chris, and Michael, and a much loved sister to Barry and the late Brian Kenyon and stepsister to June and the late Pam and a devoted grandma and great grandma. Also a loved and respected dinner lady at St Paul's Primary school Bury for many years. Funeral to be held at East Lancashire Crematorium Radcliffe on Wednesday 13th April at 2.30pm. Sign in to add a tributeSuch a lovely lady; I went to primary school at St Paul's and later lived across the road from her too.
Always so warm and welcoming - every now and again I think of her and was saddened to hear she'd passed. I had always wanted to reach out, and one year she even dropped a Christmas card off after we left Oram street.
She kept my hands warm during the cold breaks and she had the best gloves to do so. Now in my 30s.
Hope her family are well.
