SEDMAN John Keith. On March 29th 2022 peacefully at home in Bury, aged 84 years. Known as Keith, he was a lifelong and well - loved member of Bury Parish Church. During his time there he served as choirboy, was on the Fabric Committee of the P.C.C., a dustbuster, a flower arranger, even setting up a walking group with his wife Pat. He valued his many years as Warden and Verger working closely with Rev. Reg Smith, Rev. John Findon and latterly Rev. Julian Heaton at various weddings and funerals and always giving a warm welcome to visitors to the church. Keith will also be known to many as the former owner of Leslie's Carpet Centre in Silver Street and for over 20 years providing a professional and caring service to the community. Beloved husband of Pat and first wife Helen, loving father of Andrew, Julie and Michael and much loved brother of Ann, he will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren James, Monica, Drew and Andrew, great grandson Theo as well as all the wider family and his many friends. The service will be at Bury Parish Church on Thursday April 7 at 2.15pm followed by committal at Radcliffe Crematorium at 3.30pm.
