ROTHWELL Joseph Allen A well known former owner of Sunnywood Garage, Tottington and also Car and Garage Supplies Haslingden. Allen died peacefully at Fairfield Hospital on Tuesday 1st of February. After a varied work life during much of which he was self employed, he took early retirement to care for his wife Shirley, who passed away in 2008. He was a skilled golfer and played the violin. He took a keen interest in engineering, nature, music and history. He will be missed greatly by his sons Michael and Stephen and daughter in law Sue. He was truly one of a kind.
