BUTTERWORTH Denis James In loving memory of Denis James Butterworth, we are saddened to announce his passing on Thursday 9th December 2021 in Bury, aged 92 years. Much loved husband of Jean and cherished father of Alison and Erica. Proud Grandad 'Didlidoo' to Seth, Coen and Louie and supportive Father in Law to Charlie. He will always be remembered as courageous, kind and fun. An avid motorcyclist throughout his life and his trade as an electrician took Denis and Jean on many travels around Europe and the USA. He was the best Dad ever and will be missed by many. The Funeral service will be held at East Lancashire Crematorium, Radcliffe on Thursday 6th January at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to UNICEF (which will be forwarded to their Children in Emergencies fund) c/o and all enquiries to Booth & Wolstenholme, Peel Chapel, Crow Lane, Ramsbottom.
