MIKE TWIGG Passed away in hospital 8th September, after a short illness aged 78. Loved and respected by the many people who knew him. Will be forever missed and remembered by his wife, Lorraine, son Peter, stepchildren Andrew, Robert and Anna, their partners Denise, Virginia, Chris and his eight wonderful grandchildren who gave him so much love and joy. He came to Bury to develop the Mosses Centre in its early years, followed by YTS Units in three areas of Bury plus Alternative Provision in collaboration with Bury College. For many years was responsible for training part time youth workers and supporting voluntary organisations. Service to take place at Bolton Road Methodist Church on Friday 24th September at 10:30am followed by the committal at East Lancashire Crematorium at 11:30am. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to be made to Bury Homeless Project. Please ask for details. Due to COVID-19, there may be some restrictions. Please contact the Funeral Home for more information.
