JAMES WILLIAM HARVEY TAYLOR James Taylor (Jim) On June 11th in hospital, after a lung operation, Jim passed away peacefully aged 74. Beloved partner of Bob for 54years and loved by his sisters and brothers he will be dearly missed by both Bob and Jim's families. Their home "Moorfields" on Tottington Road was converted into a Residential Home for the elderly and Jim's expertise gained during his time as a Officer in Charge of residential homes for Rochdale MBC made the home one of the best in Bury. His life was devoted to helping and caring for others especially elderly people for which he was an excellent practitioner. Jim also served as a Councillor for Bury MBC. Service will take place at St Anne's Church on Friday 9th July at 12-00 noon. Those attending should by seated in church by 11-45am. The service will be recorded on the internet for those who cannot attend owing to the Coronavirus pandemic. The web site is https://www.lawrencecliftphotography.co.uk/livestreams. Donations in place of flowers to Abbeyfield Bury, Farraday House, Tottington Road, Bury, to which he was a serving Trustee.
