DAVID (DAVE) EVANS Dave (fondly known to some of his old friends by the nickname 'Bushy') passed away in Bury Hospice on the 4th February 2021, aged 71 years. Much loved husband, dad, brother, uncle and friend. Dave was football mad. An amateur player, a manager (Elton Rangers) and a long-standing South Stander at Gigg Lane. A great guy who will be sadly missed. A service to celebrate Dave's life will take place at East Lancashire Crematorium, Radcliffe on Monday 22nd February at 3:30pm. Unfortunately, due to current restrictions, attendance will be by invitation only. For those unable to attend, the service will be streamed live. No flowers by request but donations in lieu of flowers to Bury Hospice would be gratefully received if you wish to do so. These can be made via the family's memorial page which can be found at david-evans-1949-2021.muchloved.com. The family would be grateful if those who knew Dave could visit this page to share their memories of him. Any enquiries should be made to Bury Co-op Funeralcare, 22 Silver Street, Bury, BL9 0EX Tel: 0161 764 4177.
