DAVID (DAVE) EVANS Dave (fondly known to some of his old friends by the nickname 'Bushy') passed away in Bury Hospice on the 4th February 2021, aged 71 years. So many happy memories, they all start with uncle Dave pinching my cheek and giving it a shake. I couldn’t wait to watch the Bury games (when I could go) with Dave and Su and sit back and listen to Dave go on and on about how a player was useless and stole someone else’s job. Absolutely priceless.
Uncle Dave will always have a special place in my heart. Will miss him very much. Love Fay-Ray xx

Dave was a well liked working member at the East Lancashire Railway always there with a joke particularly about football.
He will be sadly missed being a very conscientious hardworking volunteer and the most likeable guy you will ever meet.

RIP Dave

this happy pic was taken when the Rayners re opened . we are reminiscing our time drinking there in the 60's / 70's .As usual Dave had us all in stitches, falling about laughing with his more interesting tales .My son who took the pic loved listening to the "owd" folk and felt like he was back in time with us all . Happy Days ****
