IF you go down to Burrs Country Park this month, you're sure of a big surprise thanks to Henshaws' sponsored Hallowe'en Walk!
With spooky stories and gruesome goodies, the haunted adventure through the park on Tuesday, October 31 will ensure that this year's Hallowe'en is truly memorable.
Henshaws' community fundraiser, Louise Ingham said: "This event is an ideal opportunity to get dressed up, have some Halloween family fun and support Henshaws, by raising vital funds for blind and visually impaired children, young people and adults across the north of England."
Bury mayor, Councillor Jack Walton, will judge prizes for the best fancy dress outfit and will set off the walkers at 6pm.
Sponsorship raised during the event will help Henshaws' High Five campaign which aims to raise £5 million in the next three years to fund the expansion and development of its services.
So, if you're feeling brave enough and are interested in taking part in the event, please contact Louise on 0161 786 3661. All participants will need to pay a £2.50 registration fee.
