TICKETS for the annual Fairfield Baby Lifeline Society dinner are on sale in a bid to raise money for Fairfield Hospital's special care baby unit.
The charity dinner will be held on Friday, June 9 at the Village Hotel in Bury with former Bury General consultant Dr Kevin Jones providing some light relief as the after-dinner speaker.
The three-course meal will be hosted by the Master of Ceremony Norman Vernon and will include entertainment with a live singer and DJ. It is the second dinner to be held by the lifeline society which is currently fighting to save the special care baby unit from closure with the Babies First campaign.
All money raised from the event will be donated to the society which was established 25 years ago to raise funds to provide the best possible care for newborn babies.
Tickets are available from Bury's Tourist Information Centre in Market Street or credit card bookings can be taken by phone on (0161) 253 5111.
