DORIS BLACKLEDGE Formerly of Poppythorn Court Prestwich. Would like to thank all her friends and family for helping her celebrate her 100th birthday on February 3rd at Slatterleys of Whitefield. (Special thanks to Mark) and all at St Margarets Church Prestwich and Our Lady of Grace Church, over 60's Club for their party they laid on Wednesday last, a superb party and a credit to all who helped in arranging it. She was overwhelmed by the amount of flowers and number of cards she received especially the one from Her Majesty The Queen. After 80 happy years living in Prestwich she has finally retired to her bungalow in the Ribble Valley.
