It's snow-go for dozens of schools

FORTY schools and colleges in the borough closed today because of the early-morning snowfall.
They were: Lowercroft, St Thomas's, Wesley, Park View, Peel Brow, Springside, Christ Church Ainsworth, Radcliffe Primary, Sedgley Park, Millwood, Elms Bank, Guardian Angels, Christ Church Walshaw, All Saints, St Paul's, Chesham, Heaton Park, Chantlers, Our Lady of Lourdes, St Joseph’s Ramsbottom, Holcombe Brook, St Andrew's Ramsbottom, Cams Lane, St.Peter's, St Marie’s, Woodhey, Tottington High, St Gabriel’s, Derby, Broad Oak, Bury Church, Hollymount, East Ward, Radcliffe Riverside, Castlebrook, Greenhill, Holy Cross College and Bury College. Fairfield Primary and Phillips High closed at lunchtime.
