KIND-HEARTED fundraisers donned their pyjamas for the day to help raise more than £3,000 for a children's charity.
The event, held at the Garsdale Country Inn on Bank Holiday Monday, was organised by the Trewan Sands Children's Trust, which provides holidays for disabled and terminally ill children.
Louise Dawson, a trustee for the charity, said: "Wear Your PJ’s Day was a great success with over £3,000 raised. A special thank you to the new owners of the Garsdale Country Inn, Elite Taverns North West Limited for hosting the event, Alan Goddard, of Goddard Painters and Decorators, for having his head shaved, and Grandaddy and Nanny Trumbell for entertaining the children.
"Also to Pimhole Community Farm, Owls Roost, Lindsay Ramm, Catchlight Photography, the fire service, all the volunteers on the day and a massive thank you to everyone who attended.
"A fantastic day was had by all."
