Earlier this week the Bury star presented a special Manchester Pride edition of his show on Gaydio counting down to the big weekend, and he announced he was to present a show on TV for North West Tonight on the history of Manchester Pride.

Jsky was also invited to lead the 2023 Bury Pride Parade through the town centre in April this year.

When at the event, he told the Bury Times: “This is incredible.

“I went to Holy Cross College nearly 20 years ago and never would have imagined that the whole of Bury would come out in such force to celebrate all forms of love.

“Obviously there is a lot of work still to be done with spreading acceptance and understanding but to see that my hometown is fully behind the message of equality is incredible.

“It has been an honour to lead the parade and long may Bury Pride continue.”
