A man was found dead at an address in Bury on Sunday, police have confirmed.
Residents reported that Chesham Road was closed by officers and there was a large police presence in place.
Today, Tuesday, Greater Manchester Police said that a man in his 40s was found dead at an address on the road at around 5.20pm.

The death is not believed to be suspicious, and the man’s family have been informed and are being supported, the force added.

A GMP spokesperson said: “At around 5.20pm on Sunday, April 2, 2023, officers were called by North West Ambulance Service to a report of a man found dead at an address in Chesham Road, Bury.
“The victim is a man in his 40s and there are believed to be no suspicious circumstances.
“His family have been informed and will be supported by specially trained officers.”
