A man has been taken to hospital after a crash in Ramsbottom between a tractor and a car early this morning, Friday.
The collision happened on Whalley Road (A56) at around 5.30am.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, police have said.
The A56 was reported to have been closed this morning between the Eagle and Child Inn pub and Greenacre Close following the incident but has now been reopened.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “We were called shortly after 5.30am this morning, Friday, to a report of a collision between a car and a tractor on Whalley Road, Ramsbottom.
“The driver of the car – a man - was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening."
