WHAT better way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of a Bury theatre school than to take a peek at some of its star pupils before they were famous.
Carol Godby Theatre Workshop, now based at The Rock, has been celebrating the milestone with a series of events throughout the year.
Since launching in Whitefield in 1991, scores of students have gone on to enjoy successful careers with many now gracing our television screens on a daily basis.

Bury’s Helen Flanagan, age 26, who will be reprising her role of Rosie Webster in ITV soap Coronation Street in the spring, can be seen as a fresh-faced 11-year-old.
Another Bury starlet to go through the ranks at the theatre workshop is former Coronation Street actress and Strictly Come Dancing star Georgia May Foote, age 25.
Another Coronation Street star to have honed her craft Carol Godby's is Jennie McAlpine, age 32. A favourite on the cobbles, she joined the cast of the ITV1 soap as Fiz in 2001.
Her on-screen brother, Chesney Brown, is also played by another Carol Godby alumni - Sam Aston. Viewers have watched the 23-year-old grow up on screen and find love on the street. First with Georgia's character Katy Armstrong and now with.....
Sinead Tinker, who is played by Katie McGlynn, age 33. The former Waterloo Road actress - from Littleborough in Rochdale - can be seen here in 2008.
Bury-born Harry McDermott, age 10, can be seen here at the tender age of five, in 2010. The child star joined Coronation Street in August of that year to play Max, son of recently-murdered Kylie Platt.
Nikki Sanderson, age 32, played hairdresser Candice Stowe from 1999 to 2005 in Corrie. She now stars in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks as Maxine Minniver, for which she won the Best Actress award at the British Soap Awards 2014 and 2015.
Away from the soaps, actor Ralf Little attended the theatre workshop in his younger years. The 36-year-old's much-loved characters include Antony Royle in The Royle Family and Jonny Keogh in the first six series of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.
Back on the cobbles and Bury-born Elle Mulvaney, age 14, made her Corrie debut as Amy Barlow in 2010. She is the 8th child actress to portray the daughter of Tracy Barlow and Steve McDonald.
