BURY hip hop artist BigFoot, aka Andy Preston, will be getting people in the Christmas spirit at Siberia, at The Rock, on Sunday.
“It’s going to be a hip hop-slash-rap show with a bit of a twist,” he says. “We’re going to get the audience involved, do some festive remixes. A lot of people break up from school and college around then so we’re going to get the Christmas party started.”
Although he is just 17, Andy has been working to build himself a career in music since 2007, and this year has seen things really start to take off.
He has received national radio airplay, and will be releasing the single Feel Like A King in February, on local label Ruby Records.
“It’s about how in the music industry you can go from nothing to something and you feel like a king,” he says.
The single will be followed by an album, One Dream At A Time, in March, and an EP will be on sale the night of the gig.
Andy is also currently studying for the National Diploma in Music Technology at Bury College.
“Music is all I want to do,” he said.
